FrocKit 49A - Vogue 8630 Dress View A - Black and White Stretch Sateen

Kit Description:

FrocKit 49A -  Vogue 8630 View A is a lined, sleeveless dress with front and back darts.  The pattern features  French darts, wide fold-over collar, back zipper and back slit and sits at  mid-knee length.  Separate pattern pieces for A, B, C and D cup sizes are provided.

We love this pattern for lots of reasons, and so do a lot of other sewists.  It has shades of a 60's wiggle dress, it is flattering, and it is very very feminine -everyone needs a dress like this in their wardrobe.  The wide portrait collar is a beautiful feature that draws attention to your face without being too bold.  We have paired this pattern with a lovely stretch sateen that features graphic black lines on a white background.  The stretch fabric will provide the comfort needed on a dress like this, and colour combinations and pattern will really make this dress stand out.  We like to think that this would be a great dress to wear to the races with a lovely hat, or any other special occasion where elegance is required!
