FrocKit 96C - McCalls 8066 Dress view C is an on trend tiered skirt in a medium weight cotton/polyester blend. The skirt is a pull on with a flat front waistband, and an elasticised back waistband. The fabric is a beautiful medium weight cotton/poly blend with a small repeating lattice pattern.
McCalls has previously issued this pattern as McCalls 7604, and it also goes by the name #PosieMcCalls...hard to keep up sometimes. The pattern is perfect for a beginner as it is one of McCalls "easy to sew" range, and the instructions are very clear. In fact, the instructions are aimed at the beginner sewist, so they go into greater detail on how to apply the techniques required to construct the skirt. Even though the pattern is aimed at the beginner, the resulting skirt is very on trend, and would make a great addition to any sewist's wardrobe.
We've created this kit in view C, but have chosen not to use contrasting fabrics. This kit will provide you with enough fabric to make up any of the views in the pattern if you choose to make one of the shorter versions (views A and B) or the longest version without the tiers.
